Composition Task 3
Bassline
Give your composition some bass by adding a bassline, in one of the 3 ways explored in Crucifixus,32 Variations, and Rush.
Step 1
Add a bassline to your composition, either by having another instrumental layer, or adjusting the pitches of certain notes.
The bassline can be descending, ascending, or otherwise, but it needs to have a clear shape.
Step 2
Incorporate your bassline into the rhythmic cell comopsition by choosing one or more of the options below:

Deriving a harmony from the bassline

Creating pitch material based on the bassline movement

Change the rate of harmonic progression (bassline moving more quickly)
