GUITAR RIFF
In this section we will learn how to play the guitar part of Falling's verse.

Guitar Basics
First we need to get familiar with the parts of a guitar:
You hold a guitar with the guitar laying on your right thigh, and the neck of the guitar in your left hand.

In order to play a note, we press our left finger on the space between two frets and pluck the string with our right hand. Refer to the diagram to accurately find and play a note:

Guitar TAB is like the guitar upside down.
The lines show which string to pluck. The numbers correspond to the fret you need to press.

The Riff
Intro: Don't Play!
Verse:
The guitar riff is one measure that is repeated throughout the verse. Find the notes circled in red on the fret board. These are all the notes needed to play in Falling's guitar riff. Now locate those notes on the fingerboard of your own guitar.
Study the riff and play through it slowly. As you get more familiar with the pattern of finger movement you can try playing along with the recording. Take care as the riff is quite fast!
